We are so excited to be hosting our first exclusive in person, children and young people’s worship convention – Judah Tribe Convention (JTC). The event is exclusively for children and young people aged between 8-15yrs.
Judah Tribe Convention provides a platform where young worshippers, musicians and creatives from across the nation can come together to learn hot to develop their relationship with God. Our teachings and training is Christ centered, helping young worshippers to connect with God on a personal level and how to connect with God through worship. We train and mentor children and young people to horn their gifts and how to effectively use or incorporate their skills in practical worship leading through the teaching and training from our nature and seasoned worship leaders and music directors.
Judah Tribe Convention provides a safe and fun environment to learn, worship and connect with like minded young people.

Seminars
At Judah Tribe, we believe in developing a holistic worshipper therefore seminars will also focus on practical, spiritual and theological aspects of worship. Training young people to know their identity in Christ and to develop a personal relationship with Him forms the basis of our teaching. Delegates will have a range of seminars to engage in including vocal training, basics of worship leading, use of music during worship and more
All seminars will be interactive and will be led by seasoned Worship Leaders and professional Musicians with the wisdom and skills to deliver training in a child-focused way.

Keynote Speaker – Rose Mhunduru
Description:
This seminar will unveil the theme of the convention IGNITE based on Leviticus 6:12. In a world where children and young people are bombarded with messages that divert their attention from Christ, we believe there is a remnant!
The seminar will teach and train young people how they can enjoy their youth and still live a life of love and adoration to the Lord, set apart, a chosen generation!

TOPIC 1: Use of Instruments and Music During Worship
Description:
This will be a practical session where you will be taught the use of music during a worship service.
The use of sounds, rhythm and how this aids worship. How to develop your skills to effectively blend as a band alongside singers. This seminar will be practically engaging, please come with your questions.

Topic: Vocal Masterclass
Description:
This seminar will focus on how to look after your voice, how to use your voice and when singing and more importantly when you are not singing! Daily vocal exercises for singers. How to warm up before you sing. You will also learn the use and power of the voice during worship.
Open to all levels beginner, intermediate and experienced singers.

Topic: Journey to Worship Leading
Key Note Speaker: Dave Bell
Description:
This session you will hear of inspiring testimonies from worship leaders across all different age groups. They will share some practical nuggets and advice on how to they started their journey to worship leading and some of the challenges they faced along the way.
This seminar will explore how to develop and grow your gift and your skills, build confidence and stir up your passion as a young worshipper.

15:00 – 16:00 Open Worship Led by some of our delegates and volunteers – COME READY!!
Description:
The one-day convention will end on a note of worship where we will put theory into practice and have time to connect to God in worship and prayer. There will be an opportunity for you to give your life to the Lord personally if you have not already done so, so you can begin to enjoy worship with true meaning and understanding by starting your journey and relationship with God.
