The Judah Tribe

The Judah Tribe is an arm of Alabaster Worshippers Convention that is tailored for children and young people with a calling and a passion for worship. The Judah Tribe Convention provides a safe platform for training and mentoring of children and young people from the age of 8-15 with a passion and calling for the praise and worship ministry.

Whether they would like to develop their vocal skills or technical skills in playing an instrument. Specialist tutors and mentors provide practical training on all skills including vocals lessons, band master class for keyboards, guitar and drums. The Young Worshippers Convention provides a fun and relaxed atmosphere of learning and interaction. The Convention also focuses on developing a holistic worshipper therefore seminars will also focus on promoting young people to know their identity in Christ and to develop a personal relationship with Him.

Raising A Generation Sold Out To Worship!

We understand that we are living in unprecedented times. We have seriously considered the safety of our delegates, guests and staff team, we are glad to announce that the 2021 Judah Tribe Convention will be held virtually.

Hosting this convention virtually will allow us to open up a global networking platform where young worshippers from across the globe can come together on the same platform to be refreshed and renewed in God’s presence and be empowered to develop their practical skills and as well as understanding of worship.

It is our mission as Alabaster Worship to ‘Transform Lives Through Worship’, we are therefore so pleased to announce that #JTC2021 will be a FREE EVENT however registration is mandatory and numbers are limited.

We are super excited to be hosting this event and look forward to welcoming you!!

NOTE: JTC2021 is open to 10-15yr old ONLY on this occasion due to limited resources**

We have a range of seminars lined up and delegates can choose which seminars they wish to attend. The seminars for #JTC2021 will be hosted via ZOOM. All seminars will be fun, engaging and interactive with a Q&A section at the end of each seminar. Seminars will include music, presentations, group discussions and prayer.

10:00 – 10:10  GMT  Welcome and Opening Prayer

10:10 – 11:30 GMT – Tutor: Minister Leroy Johnson

TOPIC:  Musicians Masterclass

Description:

This is a practical seminar open to ALL young musicians, beginners, intermediate and experienced. The seminar will focus on building your confidence as a musician, playing during the worship service, how to develop your skills. This seminar specifically targets musicians.

**Note – Bring your instrument to this seminar for some practical engagement.

12:00 – 12:10  GMT  Welcome and Opening Prayer

12:10 – 13:15 GMT – Tutor: Minister Mike Bolt

TOPIC:  Vocal Masterclass

Description:

This is a practical seminar open to ALL singers, beginners, intermediate and experienced. The seminar will focus on good vocal health, vocal exercises, breathing techniques, pitch etc. Make sure you have a glass/bottle of water to stay hydrated during this seminar.

TOPIC:  ‘Why We Worship’

Description:

This seminar is open to ALL musicians and singers. The seminar will help you to understand what worship is and how you can develop yourself as a worshipper and not just a great singer. This gives you better understand of what God requires of you as a young people serving in the worship ministry.

15:00 – 15:05  GMT  – Welcome and Prayer

15:05 – 16:00 GMT – Tutor Pastor Dee Bryce

TOPIC: Young and Called!

Description: 

This seminar is open to ALL musicians and singers. The seminar will help you as a young person to understand God’s call upon your life and how you ought to respond. This seminar will explores the ‘pressures’ that you are faced with as a ‘young worshipper’ and you will be taught how you can remain strong in your faith and true to your identity in Christ.

**NoteYou must be in a quiet room in order to fully participate as required. Keep your camera on at all times, stay muted until instructed to unmute yourself. You will be given different scenarios to work through in groups.

16:00 – 16:30  GMT  – Tutor: Rose Mhunduru

TOPIC: Reflection Time

Description:

This seminar is open to ALL musicians and singers. The seminar will help you to reflect on your journey so far. Where you started, where you are and where you aim to be. What needs to happen between then and now for you get to where you want to be. It will help you to identity your strengths and weaknesses and how both can build you as you grow and develop. Formulate a plan to help you on your journey.

**NoteYou must be in a quiet room in order to fully participate as required. Keep your camera on at all times, stay muted until instructed to unmute yourself. You will need a pen and paper for this!

Come ready for some reflection time! One rule, be open and honest with yourself and be REALISTIC!
